Since completing her undergraduate work, Alison has worked with children and families in many capacities. As a clinical social worker with the Home for Little Wanderers, she spent many years serving families in inner city Boston. She moved to Arizona in 2013 and worked as an investigator with the Department of Child Safety (formerly Child Protective Services) before working for Southwest Human Development as a Family Therapist. Ms. Briggs then attended Arizona Summit Law School, Arizona, and continued her clinical work in an inpatient psychiatric facility.

Because of her passion for helping others and serving the under-served, law was a natural career progression for Alison.
